Senior Power BI Data Modeler

Join our data team as an experienced Senior Power BI Data Modeller and play a crucial role in designing, modelling, developing, and maintaining impactful Power BI data sets and dashboards. As our Power BI expert, you will lead training initiatives to ensure our team effectively utilizes the generated data and insights. Your work will be instrumental in driving our data-driven decision-making process within an Agile Scrum framework.

Key responsibilities:

• Power BI Development: Develop and manage advanced reporting, analytics, and interactive dashboards using Power BI.
• Data Modelling: Conduct complex data modelling and analysis to deliver accurate and effective data visualization in Power BI reports and dashboards.
• Training: Lead training programs to empower team members with proficient Power BI usage, enabling them to leverage valuable insights.
• Scrum Participation: Actively engage in Agile Scrum activities, including stand-ups, sprint planning, backlog refinement, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
• Collaboration: Collaborate closely with stakeholders, analysts, and developers to meet project requirements and objectives.
• Data Quality Assurance: Ensure the integrity and accuracy of data presented through Power BI solutions, performing thorough data validation.

Required responsibilities:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of data modelling experience, including significant expertise in Power BI.
• Proficiency in writing DAX queries in Power BI.
• Familiarity with Agile Scrum methodologies.
• Strong communication skills and ability to train and guide others effectively.
• Excellent English speaking skills and proficiency in understanding Dutch.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.

Preferred responsibilities:

• Power BI Certification or equivalent.
• Experience in a similar role within our industry.
• Master's degree in a relevant field.
