Private Debt Collection Officer
As a Private Debt Collection Officer, you have phone conversations with non-paying customers in the first phase of the collection process. You offer solutions, think in terms of possibilities and each customer has a unique situation. Key competencies include creativity, stress resistance and a hands-on mentality. You contribute to a financially healthy society and get satisfaction from achieving results, while putting customer interests first. The private debt collection team is large and close-knit, values cooperation and celebrating successes and offers space for your own ideas and input.

Wat ga je doen
You collect claims in the amicable phase
You approach customers by phone to discuss outstanding items
You make payment arrangements and/or payment agreements and apply collection measures
You monitor that the agreements made are being fulfilled
You maintain contact with the client, the customer and third parties
You identify complaints from clients and/or customers and you take immediate action
You ensure timely, correct handover to the team leader/senior employee

The starting salary ranges from €2,600 to €3,000 per month gross (based on 40 hours) depending on your experience
In addition to your salary, you will receive a fixed 13th month (to be paid out at once or partially every month)

Your travel costs by public transport are 100% reimbursed (the station is only 8 minutes' walk from our office)
Your travel costs by car are 0.23 cents per km and you will receive a parking ticket
You have an option to work in a hybrid way, where you receive a working from home allowance for the days you work from home

Wat neem je mee
You have completed at least an MBO 3 course
You have at least 1 year of experience with customer contact and have experience with resistance and retention discussions
You are available at least 24 hours a week
Preferably you have work experience in financial services
You have strong communication skills and are strong
You think in a solution-oriented way and are able to switch quickly between the various activities and systems
You are proactive, stress-resistant and a team player
You have an NVI basic certificate or you are willing to obtain it in the short term at our expense
