"Hey, my name is Serena Beumer and I have been working at Vesting Finance for almost 12 years in the role of Collections Officer.

In the role as debt collection officer, you will mainly be involved in activities such as conducting inbound and outbound calls with customers. You will also process files based on incoming customer correspondence. This can range from a request to agree a payment schedule to handling customer objections. This means you have both simple tasks and more complex cases that require a bit more research. You also pick up ad hoc requests from our senior colleagues and liaise with other teams, such as the BKR desk or the team in contact with the bailiff. Since the beginning of 2025, I have been involved in inducting new colleagues. , which I find a great new challenge and in which I have really found my passion.

What I particularly like about this role is the varied work - no two days are the same. The Personal Debt Collection team is a really cool team, because we are there for each other and really work together.

I think Vesting Finance is a nice organisation to work for, because here you feel part of a big family. Everyone works towards the same goal. Fun things are organised to get in touch with each other outside working hours as well, such as pub quizzes and the big Vesting Finance parties. Also the collaborations with charities, for which activities are organised, make it a very nice and warm organisation."

"Hey, my name is Hassana and I have been working at Vesting Finance for almost 16 years of which 9 years have been in the role of Collections Officer and 7 years as Senior Collections Officer.

In the role of senior Collections Officer, you will mainly coach and supervise our Collections staff, you will also always be working to improve work processes to make work easier for everyone.

What I particularly like about this role is the contribution I can make to the development of my colleagues through coaching and guidance. It gives me a lot of energy and satisfaction to see a colleague grow in his|her role of Incasso employee.

I find Vesting Finance a nice organisation to work for because sufficient space is given to develop and challenge yourself. In addition, there are enough career opportunities and the work is always challenging.

I think the Personal Collections team is a very cool team because everyone is always willing to help each other in order to achieve our team goals. There is a positive atmosphere and fine cooperation. We also have a lot of fun together and there is always time for a nice chat!"‍

Vesting Finance distinguishes itself by motivating employees to take action for good causes. Think of the December actions, collecting deposit money and encouraging teams to take voluntary actions. These initiatives make us unique as an organisation. In my opinion, the fundraising actions reinforce Vesting Finance's core values. It gives me a nice feeling that the organisation is committed and helps and supports fellow human beings.

For the December actions in 2024, I suggested Stichting Opkikker as a charity to make our heart for. This idea came about because, as a family, we were offered an Opkikker day through an aid worker/volunteer. During that day, we experienced how valuable such a moment can be. This motivates us enormously to help obtain donations so that even more families can be put in the spotlight.

I think it is very good and important that within Vesting Finance there is an eye for the environment, society and policy. To me, this means that the company looks beyond just figures and also has an eye for other interests. The fact that Stichting Opkikker has now been chosen gives me a very good feeling. It feels like a helping hand. I have therefore enjoyed all the actions! The wrong Christmas jumper photos were hilarious and super fun to do together. I also enjoyed the (pre)preparations for the cake action at home.‍

‘Hi, my name is Davina and I have been working at Vesting Finance since 2009 of which I have been part of the GRC team for about two years now. I perform the role of Compliance Officer there.  

As Compliance Officer, your responsibilities include promoting and monitoring compliance with external and internal rules relevant to the integrity of the organisation.

Team GRC advises the Management Team in areas such as risk management. The GRC Team is a small and very nice team within which there is an informal and relaxed working atmosphere. I would definitely recommend our team and organisation, because the organisation is growing and offers room for your personal development.

‘Hi, I'm Susanne and I work as Director HR at Vesting Finance. At Vesting Finance, there is definitely an inclusive workplace. We are open to each other and everyone feels welcome. A period when we pay extra attention to inclusion is in the month of June, when we celebrate Pride Month. I would like to organise sessions with more regularity, both internally and externally, to keep inclusion up for discussion. This could be done by using an external network or, for example, an external speaker or mentoring programme. Here I am responsible for analysing requirements, supporting my technical colleagues (DBAs, Data Engineers and Power BI specialists) in creating actionable data solutions for our organisation and our customers, and supporting the creation and implementation of an enterprise-level data vision. Every day brings new challenges: from solving analytical issues to brainstorming scalable data solutions and making the most of new data for the organisation. Working in the Data team is a great experience. I work with various data experts, which allows me to expand my technical knowledge and help them increase their business acumen. In my role, you will be on the phone a lot with different customers and deal with all kinds of stories on a daily basis. We also handle many requests and queries that come in by email. Vesting Finance's goal is to build a better financial society together. As a Debt Collection officer, our job is to collect receivables, listening carefully and taking into account both the customers financial and personal situation.

What I particularly like about my role is that I leave customers satisfied and grateful at the end of a conversation, because I was able to help them well and to their satisfaction. Customers sometimes are overwhelmed and it is nice to be able to help them as a Debt Collection officer.
