For the past three months, 30 students from the Hogeschool van Amsterdam worked on an assignment from our organisation, how can we make our Corporate Onboarding even better for new colleagues?

Yesterday, they presented their opinions in groups at the college. On behalf of our organisation, Susanne, Marray and Richard from the HR Team were present to listen, give feedback and engage in dialogue. The presentations were creative, well-founded and, above all, very valuable. We heard great ideas that we will definitely use in practice - more on that later!

Students look back on the collaboration positively

Student Tom | ‘I learnt a lot from the project with Vesting Finance. It was a great opportunity to work on an onboarding issue at a large organisation. Spread over several contact moments, we received valuable feedback and information that we can take into account in subsequent projects. The cooperation with everyone involved at Vesting Finance was also very pleasant. We strongly got the feeling that they not only wanted appropriate advice, but also really wanted to teach us something and give us an insight into the business world. All in all, it was a pleasant experience.’

Student Romy v. H. | ‘Vesting Finance was enthusiastic about our project and were really open to our ideas. This makes it extra fun to develop an onboarding process for them!!!’

Student Asmara | ‘The cooperation with Vesting Finance was incredibly instructive for me as a student. I learned a lot and got a good insight into how things work in practice. The commitment and enthusiastic feedback from the HR team made it extra fun and motivating to create something beautiful.’

Student Romy N. | ‘What a fun and instructive collaboration this was! Vesting Finance gave me the space to share my ideas and developed with me. I look back on this project with great enthusiasm.’

Student Faye | ‘Working on the assignment for Vesting Finance was very instructive and also very interesting. It was a very relevant issue, especially with all the digitalisation in today's world. During the company visit, your passion for the employees really stood out, and I also saw that in the interviews with Vesting Finance employees. The alignment moments with the HR team were not only valuable, but also very enjoyable.’

Student Ioana | ‘For me, this was a nice and realistic way to get a taste of practice. I really appreciate your hospitality and the opportunities you gave us. As a second-year HR student, this collaboration felt like my first real step towards practice. A valuable and instructive experience.’

Based on the feedback received, the students do their finishing touches to the advisory reports. We look forward to the final results!

Thanks to all students and their supervisor Eliane van Esch for their commitment and enthusiasm!
